The answer, as recorded

Here's how I'd actually rank them, depending on what kind of agency you are: **1. Webflow** - My default recommendation for design-led agencies. Pixel-level control without hand-coding, a real CMS for client editing, and the Workspace model plus billing transfer means you can hand a finished site to a client and get off the invoice. The Webflow Partner program also funnels leads. Downside: steeper learning curve, and client-side editing is more fragile than WordPress. **2. Wix Studio** - The one platform that was explicitly built for agencies rather than retrofitted. Reusable design libraries across projects, a client dashboard, bulk site management, and billing transfer. Best choice if you're shipping a lot of small-to-mid business sites and want speed over total control. Plans start around $19/mo. **3. WordPress (on managed hosting - WP Engine, Kinsta, or Rocket.net - with Bricks or Elementor Pro)** - Still the right answer for content-heavy sites, anything needing odd integrations, membership/LMS work, or clients who insist on owning their stack. Modern managed hosts handle staging, backups, and security, which removed most of the old agency pain. More maintenance liability than the hosted builders, so price retainers accordingly. **4. Duda** - The pick if your business model is white-label at volume. Genuinely good reseller tooling, your branding on the editor, and client accounts under your name. Less design ceiling than Webflow, but far better margins per site. **5. Shopify (and Shopify Plus)** - Not optional if you do ecommerce. Don't try to build commerce on a general-purpose builder; the checkout, apps, and payments ecosystem aren't replicable. **6. Framer** - Fastest path from a Figma-style design to a live marketing site. Great for landing pages, launches, and startup clients. Weaker CMS and less mature than Webflow, so I'd use it alongside, not instead of. **7. Squarespace (via Circle)** - Worth keeping for low-budget, low-maintenance clients who will never log in again. Circle gives you a 20% discount and client-transfer tooling. **8. 10Web or Dorik** - Budget white-label options if you're producing high volumes of simple sites and Duda is too expensive. If I had to pick one: **Webflow** for a design/brand agency, **Wix Studio** for a volume SMB agency, **WordPress** for anything complex or integration-heavy. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
