Corrections and contact

If a page states something about you, your program or your site that is wrong, write to [email protected] with the page address and what the page should say. Corrections are applied by hand and recorded in the page's change history.

What happens

1. The claim is re-read from its source. If the source changed or was misread, the page is corrected and a dated entry appears in that record's change history, which is public.
2. If the source still says what the page says, the page keeps the claim and the reply is recorded with the record, so the disagreement is on file and visible to whoever reviews it next. The site does not publish a statement on your behalf, and it will say so rather than imply a right of reply it has no mechanism to deliver.
3. A request to stop crawling a site is honoured permanently: see the crawler policy for the opt-out signals it recognises without any email.
