Brands named, in the order the engine gave
- Webflow recommended
Webflow - My default pick for design-led agencies.
- Duda recommended
Duda - The strongest pick if your business model is volume.
- WordPress recommended
WordPress (with managed hosting - WP Engine, Kinsta, or Cloudways) - Still the right answer when the client needs something the SaaS builders can't do: complex integrations, membership, LMS, unusual e-commerce, or a genuine "we own this outright, no vendor lock-in" requirement.

- Framer recommended
Framer - Worth naming for marketing sites and landing pages specifically.
- Figma recommended
Fastest build-to-launch of anything here, excellent animation out of the box, very strong Figma-to-site workflow.
- Shopify recommended
Shopify - Not a general website builder, but if a client's project is commerce-first, don't try to force it into one of the above.
- 10Web mentioned
Worth knowing about for white-label specifically: 10Web, Dorik, and Ucraft all have white-label/reseller tiers if your main goal is selling sites under your own brand at a low per-site cost.

The answer, as recorded
Here's what I'd actually recommend, roughly in the order I'd suggest trying them: **1. Webflow** - My default pick for design-led agencies. You get near-total visual control over HTML/CSS without writing it, a real CMS, and the Workspace/client-billing setup means you can hand off a site and have the client pay Webflow directly for hosting while you keep editor access. Downsides: steepest learning curve on this list, and costs add up fast if you're running dozens of small client sites. **2. Duda** - The strongest pick if your business model is *volume*. It was built for agencies and resellers from the start: genuine white-labeling (your logo in the client's dashboard), client billing, team permissions, and a template/site-reset workflow that makes the 20th small-business site much cheaper to build than the 1st. Less design ceiling than Webflow, but far less friction. **3. WordPress** (with managed hosting - WP Engine, Kinsta, or Cloudways) - Still the right answer when the client needs something the SaaS builders can't do: complex integrations, membership, LMS, unusual e-commerce, or a genuine "we own this outright, no vendor lock-in" requirement. Pair it with a builder like Bricks, Breakdance, or Elementor Pro. The tradeoff is real: you're now responsible for updates, security, and performance. **4. Wix Studio** - Wix's agency-facing product, and it's much better than Wix's consumer reputation implies. Dedicated agency plans (around $19/mo entry, scaling to Plus and Elite tiers), a partner program with reseller discounts, client handoff tools, and a responsive-design editor that's genuinely competent now. Good middle ground if Webflow is too technical for your team. **5. Framer** - Worth naming for marketing sites and landing pages specifically. Fastest build-to-launch of anything here, excellent animation out of the box, very strong Figma-to-site workflow. Weaker CMS and e-commerce story, so I'd treat it as a tool for a subset of projects rather than your agency's standard. **6. Shopify** - Not a general website builder, but if a client's project is commerce-first, don't try to force it into one of the above. Shopify's Partner program (revenue share on referred merchants) is also one of the better agency economics on this list. **Worth knowing about for white-label specifically:** 10Web, Dorik, and Ucraft all have white-label/reseller tiers if your main goal is selling sites under your own brand at a low per-site cost. They're less capable than the above but cheaper to scale. **Short version:** if you're design-driven, Webflow. If you're volume-driven, Duda. If your clients have unusual technical requirements, WordPress. Most agencies I'd advise end up running two of these, not one. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
