- Duda recommended
Duda - The pick if you want true white-label and volume.

WordPress + Elementor (or Bricks/Breakdance) - Still the answer when clients need plugins, complex functionality, or want to own their stack with no platform lock-in.
- Framer recommended
Framer - Worth naming for marketing sites and landing pages where motion and polish matter.
- Shopify recommended
Shopify - Not a general builder, but if any meaningful share of your clients sell physical products, don't try to force Webflow or Wix into that job.
- GoHighLevel mentioned
Skip or be careful with: Squarespace (fine sites, weak multi-client management - it's a client DIY tool, not an agency tool), and GoHighLevel/Vendasta unless you're actually selling a full marketing-services bundle (CRM, automation, reputation) rather than websites - the site builders in those suite

The answer, as recorded
Here's what I'd actually recommend, roughly in order: **1. Webflow** - My default pick for design-led agencies. You get near-total visual control over HTML/CSS without hand-coding, a solid CMS, and client billing transfer so the client pays for hosting directly instead of running through you. Downsides: steepest learning curve of the bunch, and per-site hosting costs add up. Best when design quality is your selling point. **2. Wix Studio** - The strongest "built for agencies" story right now. It's a separate product from consumer Wix: responsive CSS-grid-style editor, reusable templates/libraries across clients, a partner program with tiers and benefits, and a single dashboard for managing many client sites. Plans start around $19/mo with Plus (~$34) and Elite (~$159) tiers for shops juggling lots of projects. Good value, fast to produce in. **3. Duda** - The pick if you want true white-label and volume. Purpose-built for agencies and resellers: your brand end-to-end (editor, domain, client emails), wholesale pricing, and a multi-client dashboard. Less design ceiling than Webflow, but the best margins and the cleanest client handoff if you're running 20+ sites. **4. WordPress + Elementor (or Bricks/Breakdance)** - Still the answer when clients need plugins, complex functionality, or want to own their stack with no platform lock-in. Elementor Cloud simplifies hosting. The tradeoff is maintenance: updates, security, and plugin conflicts become your ongoing problem (or your recurring revenue, depending how you price it). **5. Framer** - Worth naming for marketing sites and landing pages where motion and polish matter. Fastest designer-to-live pipeline of anything here, genuinely nice CMS now. Weaker for ecommerce or anything structurally complex. **6. Shopify** - Not a general builder, but if any meaningful share of your clients sell physical products, don't try to force Webflow or Wix into that job. Shopify + a Partner account is the right tool, and the partner revenue share is good. **Skip or be careful with:** Squarespace (fine sites, weak multi-client management - it's a client DIY tool, not an agency tool), and GoHighLevel/Vendasta unless you're actually selling a full marketing-services bundle (CRM, automation, reputation) rather than websites - the site builders in those suites are mediocre. If I had to pick one: **Wix Studio** for most agencies starting fresh (best speed-to-quality-to-price ratio), **Webflow** if you compete on design, **Duda** if you compete on volume and want your own brand on the product. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
