The question asked, verbatim: best video conferencing software for small businesses
Brands named, in the order the engine gave
- Google recommended
Google Meet - My default recommendation if you don't already have strong ties to Microsoft.
- Google Meet recommended

- Microsoft recommended
Google Meet - My default recommendation if you don't already have strong ties to Microsoft.
- Google Workspace mentioned
It's bundled into every Google Workspace plan (from ~$7.20/user/month), so if you're paying for Gmail with your own domain, you already own it at no extra cost.
- Zoom mentioned
Ceiling is lower than Zoom's for big events, but small businesses rarely hit it.
- Microsoft Teams mentioned
Microsoft Teams - The same logic in reverse: if you're on Microsoft 365 (Business Basic at ~$6/user/month and up), Teams is included and you'd be wasting money buying anything else.

- Zoho mentioned
Zoho Meeting - The genuine budget pick at ~$3/host/month.
- Zoho Meeting mentioned
Zoho Meeting - The genuine budget pick at ~$3/host/month.
- Webex mentioned
Webex - I'd only name it if you have a specific reason: existing Cisco hardware in a conference room, or compliance/security requirements that your IT or an enterprise client is imposing on you.
- GoTo Meeting mentioned
A note on GoTo Meeting (~$10.20/organizer/month): it shows up high in a lot of "best of" listicles, and it does have per-organizer rather than per-user pricing, which can be cheaper if only one or two people ever host.
- Jotform mentioned

The answer, as recorded
Here's how I'd actually rank them, and the honest answer is that for most small businesses this decision is already made by whichever office suite you pay for. **1. Google Meet** - My default recommendation if you don't already have strong ties to Microsoft. It's bundled into every Google Workspace plan (from ~$7.20/user/month), so if you're paying for Gmail with your own domain, you already own it at no extra cost. Nothing to install, joins from a browser link, and the Gmail/Calendar integration means scheduling is one click. Ceiling is lower than Zoom's for big events, but small businesses rarely hit it. **2. Microsoft Teams** - The same logic in reverse: if you're on Microsoft 365 (Business Basic at ~$6/user/month and up), Teams is included and you'd be wasting money buying anything else. It's also the cheapest entry point overall - Teams Essentials is ~$4/user/month standalone. The tradeoff is that Teams is a whole chat-and-collaboration platform, not just a meeting tool, so it's heavier than some small teams want. Worth noting it also tops the big review aggregates (4.4/5 across ~30k verified reviews), largely on the strength of that bundling. **3. Zoom** - Still the best pure meeting product, and what I'd pick if video calls are client-facing and the experience has to be flawless. Best-in-class audio/video reliability on bad connections, the smoothest "guest joins without an account" flow, and the strongest webinar tooling if you ever run external events. Pro is ~$13.33/user/month, Business ~$18.33. The catch: you're paying on top of whatever suite you already have, so only justify it if meetings are core to how you sell or deliver. **4. Zoho Meeting** - The genuine budget pick at ~$3/host/month. Unglamorous but competent, and a real option if you're a few people watching every dollar, or already in the Zoho ecosystem for CRM/invoicing. **5. Webex** - I'd only name it if you have a specific reason: existing Cisco hardware in a conference room, or compliance/security requirements that your IT or an enterprise client is imposing on you. Otherwise it's more platform than a small business needs. A note on **GoTo Meeting** (~$10.20/organizer/month): it shows up high in a lot of "best of" listicles, and it does have per-organizer rather than per-user pricing, which can be cheaper if only one or two people ever host. But I'd treat those rankings with some skepticism - much of that content is affiliate-driven, and GoTo's product momentum has faded relative to the big three. It's a fine tool, just not one I'd steer you toward first. My practical advice: don't evaluate these in a vacuum. Check what your email and docs run on, use the bundled option, and only add Zoom as a second tool if the bundled one visibly fails you with clients. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
