Here's how I'd rank them for a manufacturing environment, in the order I'd actually suggest you look: **1. Limble CMMS** - My default recommendation for most manufacturers under a few hundred assets. It's the one reliability teams can configure themselves: asset hierarchies, meter- and runtime-triggered PMs, and custom work order fields without paying a consultant. Strong technician adoption, which is where most CMMS rollouts die. Best balance of "powerful enough" and "people will actually use it." **2. MaintainX** - Pick this if your biggest problem is that work orders live on paper, whiteboards, and in people's heads. Genuinely mobile-first, has a free tier to pilot with, and techs open the app without being nagged. Lighter on deep reliability analytics than Limble, so it's less of a fit if you're doing serious condition-based maintenance. **3. Fiix (Rockwell Automation)** - The one I'd name for mid-to-large plants that need the shop floor talking to the top floor. Best-in-class integrations to SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite, plus PLC/sensor connectivity. Being owned by Rockwell matters if you're already an Allen-Bradley shop. Expect to need a dedicated owner and IT involvement. **4. IBM Maximo Application Suite** - Enterprise EAM, not CMMS. Right answer for multi-site operations with thousands of assets, regulatory documentation burdens, and real budget for implementation. Overkill and expensive for a single plant. **5. SAP Plant Maintenance (PM/EAM)** - Only if you're already deep in SAP. The integration with procurement, inventory, and finance is the whole argument; the maintenance UX itself is not why anyone chooses it. **6. eMaint (Fluke Reliability)** - Solid middle option, and worth a look specifically if you're pairing it with Fluke vibration/thermal condition-monitoring hardware. Good predictive maintenance story. **7. UpKeep** - Good product, polished mobile UI, but its center of gravity is facilities and fleet rather than production equipment. I'd shortlist it only if you're maintaining buildings as much as machines. Two practical notes: run a paid pilot on one line with your actual techs before signing anything annual - adoption, not features, is what determines whether this works. And be skeptical of the "best CMMS 2026" listicles; a lot of the top results are vendor-owned blogs ranking themselves first. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
