## My picks, in order **1. PandaDoc** - the default recommendation for most small businesses. It does the whole lifecycle most small teams actually need: templates, proposals/quotes, e-signature, and tracking in one tool. Around $35/user/month for the contracts-plus-proposals tier (there's a cheaper ~$19 tier and a free e-sign tool). Best fit if your "contracts" are mostly client agreements, SOWs, and sales paperwork. Integrates with HubSpot and the usual CRMs, which matters if sales owns the contracts. **2. ContractSafe** - best if your problem is *storage and finding things*, not negotiation. AI-assisted document capture dumps your existing contract pile into a searchable repository, with renewal/expiry alerts so you stop auto-renewing vendors you forgot about. Consistently rated easier to set up and better supported than Concord. Choose this over PandaDoc if you're managing *inbound* contracts (vendors, leases, insurance) rather than sending out your own. **3. Concord** - the cheapest real CLM at about $17/user/month, with unlimited e-signatures. Good value floor, but reviews rate it noticeably below ContractSafe and Juro on ease of use and support (4.2 vs 4.8). Pick it on budget, not on love. **4. Juro** - if you're a growing startup where legal/ops negotiates contracts in-browser and you don't want per-seat pricing punishing you as headcount grows. Custom platform pricing, unlimited users. Strong AI extraction. Overkill for a 5-person shop; the right call at 30-100 people. **5. Zoho Contracts** (~$25/user/month) - only worth it if you're already in the Zoho ecosystem (CRM, Books, Sign). The integration is the entire argument; standalone it's not better than the above. **6. Contractbook** - worth a look purely for its free entry tier if you have a handful of contracts a year and just want them out of email and Google Drive. **Skip:** Ironclad and DocuSign CLM. Both are excellent and both are enterprise products - implementation cost, configuration burden, and pricing will not pay off below roughly 50 people or a dedicated legal function. DocuSign *eSignature* (not CLM) is fine if you literally only need signatures. **Rule of thumb:** sending contracts out → PandaDoc. Storing contracts coming in → ContractSafe. Both → PandaDoc first, add a repository later. Budget under ~500 contracts/year is $7-100/user/month territory; be suspicious of anything quoting enterprise pricing to a small business, and check implementation fees separately from license fees. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited.
