The answer, as recorded

## First, a caveat on the search results Almost every "best contract management software 2026" list I found is written by a vendor that ranks itself #1 (HyperStart, ContractSafe, Concord, Sirion, Juro, Aavenir all publish these). Treat the rankings as marketing. The pricing numbers in them are more useful than the ordering. ## What I'd actually recommend, in order **1. Docusign (just e-signature, ~$35/user/mo) + a spreadsheet + calendar reminders** Genuinely my first suggestion if you have under ~50 active contracts. Most small businesses buying "CLM" actually need three things: signatures, one folder where everything lives, and an alert before auto-renewals bite. You can get that for a fraction of the cost. Don't buy a platform until this setup visibly breaks. **2. PandaDoc** - ~$19-35/user/month The best real product for most small businesses, especially if your contracts are outbound sales documents (proposals, SOWs, MSAs). Templates, e-sign, and tracking in one tool at a price that doesn't require a budget approval. Weakest as a searchable archive of *inbound* contracts you didn't author. ([pricing per Capterra/HyperStart roundups](https://www.hyperstart.com/blog/contract-management-software-for-small-business/)) **3. ContractSafe** - flat ~$450/month, unlimited users Pick this if your actual pain is "we have 400 signed PDFs in three Dropbox folders and nobody knows when the vendor contracts renew." It's built as a repository: OCR/AI search across scanned PDFs, plus renewal alerts. Flat pricing with unlimited seats means it doesn't get more expensive as you hire. ([ContractSafe pricing comparison](https://www.contractsafe.com/blog/contract-management-price-comparison)) **4. Zoho Contracts** - ~$30/user/month Only if you're already on Zoho One. Native e-signatures included, and the integration with the rest of the suite is the whole value proposition. Standalone, it's not better than PandaDoc. **5. Juro** - roughly $15k-60k/year The one I'd name if you have an actual legal or ops person, a growing team, and real negotiation workflow. Browser-based editor rather than Word round-trips, and consistently the highest-rated on ease of use (4.7 G2). But note the price range - this is a "we've outgrown PandaDoc" purchase, not a small-business starter. ([Juro comparison](https://juro.com/learn/docusign-clm-vs-ironclad-comparison)) **6. Concord** - ~$499/month for 5 users Fine product, frequently recommended, but the per-seat math gets bad fast compared to ContractSafe's flat rate. Worth a demo, not a default. ## Skip these **Ironclad** ($40k-200k+/yr) and **Docusign CLM** ($25k-100k+/yr) are enterprise legal-department tools. They'll appear in your search results because they dominate the category - they are not small-business products, and both still rely on Word-based drafting. Same for Sirion. ## The one question that decides it Are you mostly *sending* contracts (→ PandaDoc) or mostly *storing and tracking* ones others sent you (→ ContractSafe)? Nearly every small business I'd advise falls clearly into one bucket, and picking the wrong one is how people end up paying for a platform they use at 10%. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited.
