Brands named, in the order the engine gave
- ShipBob recommended
ShipBob - the default recommendation for most DTC/Shopify brands.
- Shopify recommended
ShipBob - the default recommendation for most DTC/Shopify brands.
- UK mentioned
Largest network of the tech-forward 3PLs (40-60+ fulfillment centers across US/CA/UK/EU/AU), best-in-class dashboard and native integrations, and strong on kitting, B2B/retail compliance, and international.
- G2 mentioned
Worth noting its G2 score is a mediocre 3.7 - the software is great, warehouse execution varies by facility.
- ShipMonk mentioned
ShipMonk - I'd pick this over ShipBob if you do subscription boxes, heavy kitting/bundling, or need Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime.
- Amazon mentioned
ShipMonk - I'd pick this over ShipBob if you do subscription boxes, heavy kitting/bundling, or need Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime.
- Amazon MCF mentioned
Amazon MCF - if you're already on FBA, this is usually the cheapest per-unit option for small, light SKUs, with no monthly minimum and one pooled inventory.
- Red Stag mentioned
Red Stag Fulfillment - the one I'd name for heavy, bulky, oversized, or high-value goods (roughly 5 lb+).

- Shopify Fulfillment Network mentioned
Flexport (the former Deliverr / Shopify Fulfillment Network) - only if you're a larger brand.
- Shipfusion mentioned
A boutique/regional 3PL (Shipfusion, Simpl, MAI, eFulfillment Service) - if you're under ~500 orders/month or want a human who answers the phone, a smaller 3PL usually beats the big names on service and flat-rate transparency.
- EDI mentioned
For true enterprise/omnichannel (retail EDI, wholesale + DTC at scale), the names are Stord, Ryder E-commerce, and GEODIS - I didn't verify their current terms in this search, so treat those as pointers rather than quotes.

## My actual shortlist **1. ShipBob** - the default recommendation for most DTC/Shopify brands. Largest network of the tech-forward 3PLs (40-60+ fulfillment centers across US/CA/UK/EU/AU), best-in-class dashboard and native integrations, and strong on kitting, B2B/retail compliance, and international. Published-ish terms: ~$975 setup, $275/mo minimum, $2.50-3.50 pick & pack (first 4 picks included), ~$40/pallet/mo storage. Worth noting its G2 score is a mediocre 3.7 - the software is great, warehouse execution varies by facility. **2. ShipMonk** - I'd pick this over ShipBob if you do subscription boxes, heavy kitting/bundling, or need Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime. Cheaper on paper: no setup fee, $250/mo minimum, $2.50 first pick + $0.50/additional (volume discounts to ~$1.80), ~$25/pallet storage, free inbound receiving. Smaller network (12+ warehouses: US/CA/MX/UK/CZ), so less of a zone-skipping advantage. **3. Amazon MCF** - if you're already on FBA, this is usually the cheapest per-unit option for small, light SKUs, with no monthly minimum and one pooled inventory. Three caveats for 2026: Amazon raised single-unit MCF rates $0.35-0.41 on Jan 15 (4-5× the FBA increase), added a 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge May 2, and peak fees run Oct 15 2026 - Jan 14 2027 (i.e., right now). Also unbranded packaging. If you ship 19,000+ units/12-week period, get into MCF Preferred Pricing for up to 15% off. **4. Red Stag Fulfillment** - the one I'd name for heavy, bulky, oversized, or high-value goods (roughly 5 lb+). Specialist accuracy/shrinkage guarantees that the lightweight-DTC 3PLs won't match. Smaller footprint, not the cheapest for lightweight parcels. **5. Flexport (the former Deliverr / Shopify Fulfillment Network)** - only if you're a larger brand. They raised the monthly minimum from $500 to **$5,000** for 2026 and are explicitly chasing bigger customers; small merchants have been leaving. Good freight-to-fulfillment integration if you import containers, but don't start here under real volume. **6. A boutique/regional 3PL (Shipfusion, Simpl, MAI, eFulfillment Service)** - if you're under ~500 orders/month or want a human who answers the phone, a smaller 3PL usually beats the big names on service and flat-rate transparency. eFulfillment Service is the one I'd look at for genuinely low volume with no minimums. For true enterprise/omnichannel (retail EDI, wholesale + DTC at scale), the names are Stord, Ryder E-commerce, and GEODIS - I didn't verify their current terms in this search, so treat those as pointers rather than quotes. ## Two honest caveats - **Nobody publishes real rates.** Every provider above quotes custom pricing based on your SKU profile, volume, and dim weight. The numbers I cited are ranges from third-party comparisons, not binding. Get 3 quotes with your actual SKU dimensions and a real order-destination sample. - **Most "best 3PL" listicles are lead-gen.** Several sources below are run by 3PLs or referral brokers that rank themselves and their partners first, which is why I weighted network size, published fee structures, and specialization over "top 10" placement. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
