  1. ShipBob recommended
ShipBob - the default recommendation for most DTC stores doing lightweight parcels.
  2. Shopify mentioned
Biggest network of the ecommerce-native 3PLs (60+ fulfillment centers across five regions), strong Shopify/Amazon/TikTok integrations, and good inventory visibility.
  3. ShipMonk mentioned
The tradeoff: it's more of a 4PL that coordinates partner warehouses, so facility-to-facility consistency varies and setup fees plus storage rates run higher than ShipMonk's.
  4. US mentioned
Roughly a dozen owned sites in the US, Canada, UK, and Czech Republic - fewer nodes, better control.
  5. Red Stag Fulfillment mentioned
Red Stag Fulfillment - the one to use if your products are heavy, bulky, oversized, fragile, or high-value.
  6. Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment mentioned
Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) - worth a hard look only if you already run FBA, since you're pooling one inventory pile.

  9. Flexport mentioned
Shopify Fulfillment Network / Flexport - the path of least resistance if you're on Shopify and want fulfillment inside your admin.
  10. Shipfusion mentioned
Shipfusion - good middle option for scaling DTC brands, particularly if you need solid real-time inventory tooling without going full enterprise.
  11. Simple Global mentioned
Simple Global - the one I'd name specifically for cross-border and international fulfillment if that's a meaningful share of your orders rather than an afterthought.

The answer, as recorded

Here's who I'd actually name, roughly in the order I'd bring them up: **1. ShipBob** - the default recommendation for most DTC stores doing lightweight parcels. Biggest network of the ecommerce-native 3PLs (60+ fulfillment centers across five regions), strong Shopify/Amazon/TikTok integrations, and good inventory visibility. The tradeoff: it's more of a 4PL that coordinates partner warehouses, so facility-to-facility consistency varies and setup fees plus storage rates run higher than ShipMonk's. **2. ShipMonk** - my pick if you're under ~400 orders/month or you want owned facilities and a named account contact. No setup fee, free inbound receiving, storage around $25/pallet vs ShipBob's ~$40, plus real subscription-box and Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime support. Roughly a dozen owned sites in the US, Canada, UK, and Czech Republic - fewer nodes, better control. **3. Red Stag Fulfillment** - the one to use if your products are heavy, bulky, oversized, fragile, or high-value. ShipBob and ShipMonk are both optimized for small lightweight parcels and are a bad fit above ~10 lbs. Red Stag built its whole model around the opposite case and backs it with accuracy/shrinkage guarantees. **4. Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF)** - worth a hard look only if you already run FBA, since you're pooling one inventory pile. Amazon launched 2026 Preferred Pricing in January: up to 15% off outbound fees and up to $1/unit in FBA credits on volume tiers (5% off + $0.25/unit at 1,200-7,000 units/yr, 8% + $0.50 at 7,001-13,000). Two cautions: 2026 fees rose $0.35-$0.41 per unit on most single-unit orders (4-5x the FBA base increase), there's a 3.5% fuel surcharge as of May, and per-unit economics are poor on singles - a 4 oz item ships for $7.34 alone but $3.64/unit in a 4-pack. Also, no branded packaging. **5. Shopify Fulfillment Network / Flexport** - the path of least resistance if you're on Shopify and want fulfillment inside your admin. Shopify sold its logistics arm to Flexport in 2023 (keeping ~13% equity), and Shopify offers merchant discounts through it. Convenient and cheap to start; I'd be more cautious here than with the top three because the service has changed hands and shape repeatedly, so I'd treat it as lower-risk for simple catalogs than for complex ones. **6. Shipfusion** - good middle option for scaling DTC brands, particularly if you need solid real-time inventory tooling without going full enterprise. **7. Simple Global** - the one I'd name specifically for cross-border and international fulfillment if that's a meaningful share of your orders rather than an afterthought. Two things that will decide this more than the brand: your average unit weight/dimensions (this alone eliminates half the list), and whether you need returns handling, kitting, or B2B/retail EDI - Deliverr-style basic-DTC-only services fall apart fast once you do.
