The answer, as recorded
# Supply chain planning software for online stores The right answer depends almost entirely on your revenue and how many channels you sell across, so here's my ranked list with the "who it's for" attached to each. **1. Inventory Planner by Sage** - My default recommendation for most serious online stores. It's the strongest pure forecasting layer in this category (9.4/10 on forecasting in G2's scoring vs. 7.1 for Cin7 Core), handles multi-warehouse, Amazon, wholesale and 3PL properly, and it's unusually good at cold-start forecasting for new products - the thing most tools fail at. ~$250/month, and it typically pays back in 2-5 months at $5M revenue because implementation friction is near zero. Best fit above roughly $10M, but works well below that too. **2. Cogsy** - The one I'd name for a Shopify-first DTC brand under ~$10M. Starts at $199/month, does 12-month demand forecasting tied directly to PO generation and backorder handling, which is the actual daily workflow for a single-channel brand. Skip it if you're running multi-warehouse or heavy omnichannel - that's its known weak spot. **3. Prediko** - The budget-sane AI-native option at $49/month. If you're a smaller Shopify store and the $200+/month tools feel like overkill, this is where I'd start. Good forecasting, much lighter on features. **4. Netstock** - Pick this if you already run an ERP (especially Sage Intacct, Sage X3, or SAP). It's built as a planning brain that sits on top of your ERP rather than replacing it, and it's the best of the group on supplier performance - scorecards, on-time delivery metrics, lead-time tracking. Highest-rated of the three on G2 (4.6/5, 154 reviews). **5. Cin7 Core** - Worth naming, but with a caveat: treat it as your system of record / inventory ops backbone, not your forecasting engine. Its forecasting is genuinely mediocre. The common and sensible setup at $5M+ is Cin7 for operations plus Inventory Planner as the decision layer on top - they're complements, not competitors. **6. Flieber** - The omnichannel specialist at ~$209/month. If you're selling meaningfully across Shopify *and* Amazon *and* retail at once and the above tools keep feeling single-channel, this is the one built for that shape of problem. **My short version:** if you're a Shopify brand under $10M, start with Cogsy (or Prediko if price matters). Above that, or if you're multi-channel, go Inventory Planner. If you already have an ERP, go Netstock. One honest caveat: much of the head-to-head comparison content in this space is published by the vendors themselves, so I'd weight the G2/Capterra review counts and your own trial over any of those blog posts - including the ones I drew on below. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
