Best-in-class usability scores (8.2 ease of use vs. ~6-7 for Ellucian products) and genuinely mobile-first. The big win is a single data model across HR, finance, and student - no integration layer between your ERP and SIS. The big caveat: implementations are long and expensive, and it's the most disruptive option on this list. **2. Ellucian Banner** - Still the default at large public universities and complex multi-campus systems, and for good reason: it handles regulatory reporting, complex curriculum rules, and edge cases that newer systems fumble.
