Searched - here's what I'd actually recommend, in order, for an online store. One framing note first: a status page and the monitoring that feeds it are two different purchases. Store owners usually need the monitoring (especially *checkout* monitoring) more than the public page, so I've ordered these by what I'd buy first. **1. Instatus** - My default pick for most stores. Best polish-per-dollar: free tier is genuinely usable, Pro is ~$20/mo ($15 annual), custom domain so you can run `status.yourstore.com`. It's status-page-first, so it looks good to customers out of the box, but it does *not* detect outages - you point a monitor at it. ([pricing breakdown](https://hyperping.com/blog/instatus-pricing)) **2. Better Stack** - Pick this if you want one vendor for uptime monitoring, alerting/on-call, and the status page. Incident detection auto-updates the page, which is the whole point. Downside: pricing stacks up with add-ons (~$29/user/mo, ~$21/mo per 50 monitors, ~$12/mo per status page), so it gets pricey fast. ([comparison](https://betterstack.com/community/comparisons/better-stack-vs-hyperping/)) **3. Hyperping** - Same "monitoring + page in one" idea, usually cheaper at scale: ~$74/mo (annual) gets 100 monitors, 10 synthetic monitors, unlimited status pages, 5 teammates - a config that reportedly runs $200+/mo on Better Stack. Those synthetic monitors matter: they can walk add-to-cart → checkout, not just ping your homepage. ([Hyperping](https://hyperping.com/blog/best-status-page-software)) **4. Atlassian Statuspage** - The enterprise default. Worth it only if you're a big store with B2B/wholesale customers or SLA commitments who expect the familiar Statuspage look, or you're already in Jira/Opsgenie. Otherwise it's overpriced for what the above do. ([overview](https://onlineornot.com/status-page-tools)) **5. UptimeRobot** - The free starting point. Solid monitoring with a basic public status page attached. If you just want "text me when the store is down" tonight for $0, start here and upgrade to Instatus later for the customer-facing page. **6. StatusGator** - Different job, and a genuinely useful one for ecommerce: it aggregates *your vendors'* status pages - Shopify, Stripe, Klaviyo, ShipStation, your 3PL - and alerts you when one breaks. Half your "outages" are upstream, and this tells you it isn't your fault. It can also republish that into a page for your own team or customers. ([StatusGator Shopify](https://statusgator.com/services/shopify)) **7. Checkly** - If you have a developer. Playwright-based synthetic checks of the real revenue path: add to cart, apply discount, complete checkout, confirm payment, from 22+ locations. This is the thing that catches a broken checkout when your homepage is still happily returning 200. Overkill without someone to write the scripts. ([Checkly](https://checklyhq.com/product/synthetic-monitoring)) **8. Upptime or openstatus** - Free/open-source escape hatch. Upptime runs off GitHub Actions and costs nothing; openstatus is self-hostable and also sells hosted at ~$30/mo with unlimited team members. Pick these if cost is the constraint and a little YAML doesn't scare you. ([open-source roundup](https://betterstack.com/community/comparisons/open-source-status-page-tools/)) If you want one answer: **Instatus for the page + UptimeRobot free for monitoring** is the cheap, good combo, and **Hyperping** is the right single-vendor choice once a few minutes of downtime costs more than $74/mo. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
