Brands named, in the order the engine gave

  1. Cloudflare mentioned
Cloudflare (Workers with Static Assets, or Pages)
  2. Workers mentioned
Cloudflare (Workers with Static Assets, or Pages)
  3. Vercel mentioned
At scale the gap is dramatic - a workload costing $300+/month on Vercel can run $30-60 on Cloudflare, because your cost grows with compute complexity, not traffic.
  4. Netlify mentioned
    Netlify
  5. Next.js mentioned
    Only if you're shipping Next.js.
  6. AWS mentioned
    AWS S3 + CloudFront
  7. AWS S3 + CloudFront mentioned
    AWS S3 + CloudFront
  8. S3 + CloudFront mentioned
    AWS S3 + CloudFront
  9. GitHub Pages mentioned
    GitHub Pages
  10. third-party mentioned
Clients invited to a project see a developer console with third-party branding, and team seats run $20-40/user/month, which gets expensive when you're adding client stakeholders as viewers.
  11. Slack mentioned
Two workable answers: keep clients out of the dashboard entirely and give them a Slack channel plus a staging URL, or provision each client their own account on their own card and add yourself as a collaborator - that also makes handoff and offboarding trivial.
  12. Kinsta mentioned
Likewise, Kinsta and SiteGround come up constantly in "agency hosting" listicles, but they're WordPress hosts - not relevant if your output is genuinely static.
  13. SiteGround mentioned
Likewise, Kinsta and SiteGround come up constantly in "agency hosting" listicles, but they're WordPress hosts - not relevant if your output is genuinely static.
  14. WordPress mentioned
Likewise, Kinsta and SiteGround come up constantly in "agency hosting" listicles, but they're WordPress hosts - not relevant if your output is genuinely static.
  15. Cloudflare Workers mentioned
Short version: Cloudflare Workers as your house standard, Netlify when you want the DX, Vercel for Next.js, S3+CloudFront for enterprise clients who own their stack.

The answer, as recorded

Searched - here's what I'd actually recommend, in order. ## 1. Cloudflare (Workers with Static Assets, or Pages) **The default for agency work.** Static asset serving is free and unlimited with no egress/bandwidth fees, so a client site that goes viral doesn't generate a surprise invoice. At scale the gap is dramatic - a workload costing $300+/month on Vercel can run $30-60 on Cloudflare, because your cost grows with compute complexity, not traffic. Important 2026 detail: **start new projects on Workers, not Pages.** Cloudflare now positions Workers + Static Assets as the successor to Pages, and that's where active development is going. Pages is still fully supported, so leave existing happy deployments alone. Bonus for agencies: you're already going to put clients' DNS/WAF/caching on Cloudflare, so hosting there means one vendor per client instead of three. ## 2. Netlify **Best developer experience and the smoothest client handoff.** Deploy previews, form handling, identity, and split testing work out of the box with near-zero config, which matters when a junior dev is shipping a brochure site on Friday. Pro is $19/user/month. The per-seat model is the catch - see the caveat below. ## 3. Vercel **Only if you're shipping Next.js.** The framework integration is genuinely best-in-class and nothing else matches it for ISR, middleware, and image optimization. Pro is $20/seat/month with 1TB bandwidth and $0.15/GB overages. For plain static output it's overkill and the most expensive of the three at traffic. ## 4. AWS S3 + CloudFront **When the client must own the infrastructure.** Unglamorous, no deploy previews, you write your own CI. But it's cheap, boringly reliable, and lives in the client's own AWS account - which is the right answer for enterprise clients, anyone with procurement/data-residency requirements, or when you want a handoff that doesn't involve migrating anything. ## 5. GitHub Pages **Free, for docs sites and internal tools.** No build minutes to worry about for simple Jekyll/Astro output. Don't put a client's revenue-generating site here - no redirects worth using, no headers control, soft bandwidth limits. ## One caveat that specifically bites agencies None of Vercel, Netlify, or Cloudflare do native white-labeling. Clients invited to a project see a developer console with third-party branding, and team seats run $20-40/user/month, which gets expensive when you're adding client stakeholders as viewers. Two workable answers: keep clients out of the dashboard entirely and give them a Slack channel plus a staging URL, or provision each client their own account on their own card and add yourself as a collaborator - that also makes handoff and offboarding trivial. A note of skepticism: I hit several results pitching "purpose-built white-label static hosting" with claims like 85-95% profit margins and 2-minute setup. That's marketing copy from small vendors, and putting your whole client book behind an unproven reseller layer is a real business risk. I'd skip it. Likewise, Kinsta and SiteGround come up constantly in "agency hosting" listicles, but they're WordPress hosts - not relevant if your output is genuinely static. **Short version:** Cloudflare Workers as your house standard, Netlify when you want the DX, Vercel for Next.js, S3+CloudFront for enterprise clients who own their stack. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
