For a small business, here's who I'd actually name, in order: **1. Dropbox Sign** - my default pick for most small businesses that just need contracts signed. ~$15/month for a single user, clean signing experience for your clients (no account required on their end), solid audit trail, and generous enough free tier to test with. Main catch: template limits on the cheaper plans (5 on Essentials, 15 on Standard), so if you send the same 20 forms over and over, price up a tier. **2. SignWell** - the best value if you're cost-sensitive and signing is all you need. Free for 3 documents/month, ~$10/month for one user with unlimited documents, $30-36/month for a team. Does the core job (templates, reminders, audit log) without enterprise pricing. **3. Zoho Sign** - best if you already use anything Zoho, or want cheap per-seat pricing for a few people. Roughly $10/user/month on Standard, ~$16 Professional, annual billing. Also has a usable free tier and a pay-per-envelope API plan if signing is embedded in your own product. **4. DocuSign** - the one I'd name when your counterparties expect a brand they recognize: lenders, landlords, enterprise clients, anything legal-adjacent. Nobody questions a DocuSign envelope. But it's the worst value of this list for small teams - Personal is $15/month with a 5-envelope cap, and Standard jumps to ~$45/user/month. Pay for it for the credibility, not the features. **5. PandaDoc** - pick this one only if your documents are *proposals and quotes*, not bare contracts. It combines the doc builder, pricing tables, deposit collection at signature, and the signature itself. ~$19/user/month Starter, $49/user/month Business. Its free e-sign tier has no envelope limit, which is genuinely good for freelancers. If you only sign, the $49 seat is hard to justify. **6. Adobe Acrobat Sign** - worth naming if your team already lives in Acrobat/PDFs all day. It's fine, and the PDF handling is the best of the bunch; otherwise it's more tool than you need. My honest shortcut: start on **Dropbox Sign** or **SignWell**'s free tier this week, and only move up when you hit a real limit. Also check whether you're already paying for e-signatures - Box, Jotform, and most CRMs include a signing feature you may not be using. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
