The answer, as recorded
"Customer feedback" splits into three jobs that need different tools. Here's what I'd actually pick for each, in order. ## Product reviews (social proof on your pages) **1. Judge.me** - My default recommendation for most stores. Free plan is genuinely unlimited (unlimited reviews, unlimited review requests), paid is a flat ~$15/mo that doesn't scale with your order volume - unlike Okendo and Yotpo, which charge more as you grow. It's also the most-adopted review app on Shopify Plus at ~26% share. Photo/video reviews, Google Shopping feed, Q&A all included. **2. Loox** - Pick this instead if you sell something visual (apparel, home, beauty, food). The whole product is built around photo and video UGC rather than text, and the galleries look better out of the box than Judge.me's. ~$9.99/mo entry, scaling to $35-300 at volume. **3. Okendo** - Worth the jump at maybe $1M+ revenue, when you want reviews, surveys, loyalty, referrals and quizzes on one customer-data layer instead of four apps. Entry ~$19/mo (200 orders), ~$119/mo at 1,500 orders, $349-1,200 on Plus. **4. Yotpo** - Name recognition and the deepest integration ecosystem, but the pricing cliff is real: cheap at the bottom, then $400-3,000+/mo on Plus. I'd only choose it if you're also buying its SMS and loyalty products. **Skip:** Fera and Stamped are fine but I can't name a reason to choose them over the four above. ## Post-purchase surveys (attribution, NPS, "how did you hear about us") **5. Fairing** - The one I'd install second, after a review app. Drops a single question on the order-status page and ties every answer to the actual order, so you get real zero-party attribution to compare against your ad platforms' self-reported numbers. Free to 100 orders/mo, $15/mo to 200, $49/mo to 500, $99/mo to 1,000. **6. Zigpoll** - Choose over Fairing if you want surveys *beyond* the thank-you page: on-site, email and SMS, with far more question types. Free to 100 responses/mo, $29/mo to 500, $97/mo to 2,000, $194/mo unlimited. ## Why people don't buy (pre-purchase) **7. Hotjar** - Session recordings plus heatmaps plus on-page polls. This is the tool that tells you why people abandon checkout, which reviews and post-purchase surveys structurally cannot - those only talk to people who already bought. **8. Gorgias** - Not a feedback tool per se, but if you're on Shopify your support inbox is your largest untapped feedback corpus, and Gorgias is the one that makes it queryable against order data. **My actual stack for a store doing under ~$1M:** Judge.me (or Loox) free tier + Fairing free tier + Hotjar. That's $0-25/mo and covers all three jobs. Add Okendo and drop the point solutions when the app sprawl starts costing more than the consolidated platform. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
