The answer, as recorded
"Customer feedback" splits into three jobs for a store, and the best tool differs by job. Here's what I'd actually name, in order. ## Product reviews & UGC (start here - this is the one that pays for itself) 1. **Judge.me** - my default recommendation for most stores. Unlimited review requests and unlimited reviews on the free plan, photo/video reviews, Google Shopping syndication for rich snippets. Nothing else gives you this much at this price. 2. **Loox** - pick this over Judge.me if your product is visual (apparel, beauty, home). It's built around photo/video reviews and the widgets look better out of the box. 3. **Okendo** - the step up when you're on Shopify Plus and want reviews, attribute filtering ("fit: runs small"), and quizzes feeding into Klaviyo segments. More expensive, more setup. 4. **Yotpo** - the all-in-one if you want reviews + loyalty + SMS under one vendor and one bill. Powerful, but you're buying a platform, not an app; expect a sales process. 5. **Stamped** - reviews plus loyalty at a meaningfully lower price than Yotpo. Good value pick if you want both but not enterprise pricing. 6. **Fera** - worth it specifically if you sell on more than one platform (Shopify + Etsy + Amazon) and want reviews consolidated. 7. **Trustpilot** or **Feefo** - these are *store*-level reputation, not product reviews. Add one only if your buyers Google "is [brand] legit" before purchasing. Feefo only accepts reviews from confirmed buyers, which is the honest version. ## Post-purchase surveys (how you learn attribution and why they bought) 8. **Fairing** - the standard for post-purchase surveys. One question on the thank-you page, response tied to the actual order, so you get "how did you hear about us" data that survives iOS attribution loss. 9. **Zigpoll** - same category, cheaper, more flexible on where surveys appear. Fine if Fairing's pricing is steep for your volume. ## On-site behavior & "why did they abandon" (diagnostic) 10. **Hotjar** - session recordings, heatmaps, and exit-intent polls on your cart and checkout. This answers the question reviews can't: where people drop and what they say right before they go. 11. **Qualaroo** - targeted micro-surveys on specific pages if you want the polling without the recording overhead. ## Feedback analytics (only once you have real volume) 12. **Chattermill** or **Enterpret** - these ingest reviews, tickets, and survey responses and cluster themes automatically instead of making you tag manually. Genuinely useful at thousands of responses a month; overkill below that. Enterpret's angle is learning your catalog's own vocabulary rather than making you predefine categories. 13. **Gorgias** - if your feedback problem is really "my support inbox knows things my team doesn't," the helpdesk itself is where you look first, not an analytics layer. **My actual advice:** a store under ~$1M/yr needs exactly two of these - Judge.me or Loox for reviews, plus Fairing for post-purchase. Add Hotjar when conversion rate is the problem you're working on. Skip the analytics tier entirely until manual reading of feedback stops being possible. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
