The question asked, verbatim: best calendar scheduling tools for remote teams

Brands named, in the order the engine gave

  1. Google recommended
Google Calendar (Workspace) - the baseline, don't skip it
  2. Appointment Schedules mentioned
Secondary time zones, per-person working hours and working location, "find a time" across calendars, and Appointment Schedules (a built-in Calendly-lite booking page) cover most remote-team needs at no extra cost.
  3. Calendly mentioned
Secondary time zones, per-person working hours and working location, "find a time" across calendars, and Appointment Schedules (a built-in Calendly-lite booking page) cover most remote-team needs at no extra cost.
  4. Cal.com mentioned
Cal.com - pick this over Calendly if you're technical or cost-sensitive
  5. per-seat mentioned
Feature-for-feature it matches or beats Calendly on the complex stuff - round robin, lead routing, pre/post-call workflows, payment-on-booking - usually at lower per-seat cost.
  6. Reclaim mentioned
Reclaim.ai - for calendar defragmentation, not booking pages
  7. Reclaim.ai mentioned
Reclaim.ai - for calendar defragmentation, not booking pages

  10. Microsoft Bookings / Outlook mentioned

  11. SavvyCal mentioned
SavvyCal - when guest experience is the point
  12. Motion mentioned
Motion - only if you want scheduling bundled into task management
  13. Doodle mentioned
Doodle - group polls with people outside your org
  14. Clockwise compared
Two caveats on what I found: Several comparison sites report that Clockwise shut down around April 2026 - if it was on your list, verify directly before planning around it, since that claim comes from competitors' blogs.
  15. ClickUp mentioned
More generally, a large share of "best scheduling tool" results are written by vendors about their rivals (Cal.com on Calendly's pricing, Reclaim on Clockwise, Motion and ClickUp on everyone), so treat the rankings as marketing and the feature/price specifics as the part worth checking.
  16. Jotform mentioned
    - Calendly pricing & plans 2026 - Jotform (https://www.jotform.com/blog/calendly-pricing/)
  17. Meetergo mentioned
    - Scheduling software for remote teams across time zones - Meetergo (https://meetergo.com/en/magazine/scheduling-software-remote-teams-time-zones)

The answer, as recorded

Searched. Here's what I'd actually recommend, roughly in the order I'd reach for them: ## 1. Google Calendar (Workspace) - the baseline, don't skip it If your team is already on Workspace, start here before buying anything. Secondary time zones, per-person working hours and working location, "find a time" across calendars, and **Appointment Schedules** (a built-in Calendly-lite booking page) cover most remote-team needs at no extra cost. Most teams buy a scheduling tool to solve a problem Google Calendar already solves. ## 2. Calendly - the default team booking layer Still the most polished and the one external guests recognize. The thing you're buying for a *team* is on the **Teams** tier: round-robin (distribute meetings across reps evenly), collective scheduling (require several teammates in one slot), routing forms, and team pages. That's **$16/user/mo annual, $20 monthly**, dropping to ~$14.50 at 31-50 seats and $13 at 51-100. The cheaper Standard plan does *not* include round robin - that's the usual budgeting surprise. ([pricing breakdown](https://www.jotform.com/blog/calendly-pricing/), [Calendly plans](https://automationatlas.io/answers/calendly-pricing-explained-2026/)) ## 3. Cal.com - pick this over Calendly if you're technical or cost-sensitive Open source, self-hostable (nice if you have data-residency or GDPR constraints), with an API-first design. Feature-for-feature it matches or beats Calendly on the complex stuff - round robin, lead routing, pre/post-call workflows, payment-on-booking - usually at lower per-seat cost. The real tradeoff is that you own more of the operational burden, especially self-hosted. ([comparison](https://efficient.app/compare/cal-vs-motion)) ## 4. Reclaim.ai - for calendar defragmentation, not booking pages Different category: it auto-schedules tasks, habits and 1:1s into real open slots, defends focus time, and auto-reschedules when conflicts land. For distributed teams the useful bit is Smart Meetings finding times across many calendars and time zones, planning out to ~12 weeks. Pair it *with* Calendly or Cal.com, don't treat it as a replacement. ([comparison](https://morgen.so/blog-posts/reclaim-vs-clockwise)) ## 5. Microsoft Bookings / Outlook - if you're a Microsoft shop Same logic as #1. Included in most M365 business plans, with Teams meeting links and staff-pool round robin built in. Less slick than Calendly, free enough to matter. ## 6. SavvyCal - when guest experience is the point Its signature move is letting the invitee overlay their own calendar on your booking page, so picking a time takes one look instead of time-zone math. Best for recruiting, sales, and client work where you don't want to make the other person do the work. Weaker on heavy team routing. ([vs Calendly](https://www.onecal.io/blog/calendly-vs-savvycal)) ## 7. Motion - only if you want scheduling bundled into task management AI task auto-scheduling with a scheduler attached. Reasonable if your team does <10 meetings/week and you'd consolidate project management too; a poor fit if scheduling is a business process needing routing or payments. ([vs Calendly](https://clickup.com/blog/motion-vs-calendly/)) ## 8. Doodle - group polls with people outside your org Narrow but genuinely unmatched for "find a slot for 9 people across 4 companies." Keep it as a utility, not a platform. **Two caveats on what I found:** Several comparison sites report that **Clockwise shut down around April 2026** - if it was on your list, verify directly before planning around it, since that claim comes from competitors' blogs. My short answer if you want one: **Google Calendar or Outlook as the foundation, Calendly on Teams for external booking, Cal.com instead if you're technical or want to self-host, and Reclaim layered on if meeting load is the actual pain.** Sources: - [Calendly pricing & plans 2026 - Jotform](https://www.jotform.com/blog/calendly-pricing/) - [How much does Calendly cost in 2026 - Automation Atlas](https://automationatlas.io/answers/calendly-pricing-explained-2026/) - [Cal.com vs Motion - efficient.app](https://efficient.app/compare/cal-vs-motion) - [Calendly vs SavvyCal - OneCal](https://www.onecal.io/blog/calendly-vs-savvycal) - [Motion vs Calendly - ClickUp](https://clickup.com/blog/motion-vs-calendly/) - [Reclaim vs Clockwise - Morgen](https://morgen.so/blog-posts/reclaim-vs-clockwise) - [Reclaim AI vs Clockwise - ClickUp](https://clickup.com/blog/reclaim-ai-vs-clockwise/) - [Scheduling software for remote teams across time zones - Meetergo](https://meetergo.com/en/magazine/scheduling-software-remote-teams-time-zones)

Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
