The answer, as recorded
Here's what I'd actually recommend, roughly in the order I'd consider them for an agency: **1. Sprout Social** - The default choice if budget isn't the binding constraint. Best-in-class analytics, reporting, and social listening, plus solid approval workflows. Clients find the reports credible, which matters when you're justifying retainers. Downside: priced per seat and expensive, so it hurts as your team grows. **2. Sendible** - Probably the best *agency-shaped* tool on the list. Built around multi-client work from the ground up: white-label client portals (your domain, your branding), approval workflows, per-client dashboards. Plans run from ~$29/mo (Creator) up through Scale (~$199) and Elite (~$299). If you want clients to never see a vendor's logo, this is the first place to look. **3. Cloud Campaign** - The one most agencies overlook. Prices per *brand workspace* with unlimited users instead of per seat, which is a genuinely different economic model if you have a team servicing many accounts. Full white-labeling (logos, colors, custom URLs) included on the higher tiers. Roughly $49 (Freelancer) / $199 (Team) / $299 (Agency) per month. **4. Agorapulse** - Strong on the inbox/engagement side and useful for social-care-heavy clients. Clean reporting with white-labeled PDF exports. Around $149/mo per user, profile-limited, so it's best for a small team with a focused client roster. **5. SocialPilot** - The budget pick, and a good one. From ~$17/mo, with the ~$100/mo Premium plan adding client approvals and white-label PDF reports. Caveat: clients still see SocialPilot branding *in the interface* - only the reports are white-labeled. Fine for most, a dealbreaker if you're reselling as your own platform. **6. Vista Social** - Good value for breadth (scheduling, engagement, listening, plus review management) from around $63/mo with a white-label agency tier. Worth a look if your clients are local/multi-location businesses where reviews matter as much as posts. **7. Hootsuite / Buffer** - I'd name these last on purpose. Buffer is excellent and cheap but thin on agency plumbing (approvals, client separation, white-labeling). Hootsuite has the features but has gotten expensive relative to what newer tools give you. Both are reasonable if you've already standardized on them; neither is what I'd pick fresh in 2026. **My actual advice:** shortlist Sendible and Cloud Campaign if white-labeling and multi-client economics are your priority, Sprout Social if reporting quality is what you sell on, and SocialPilot if you're cost-constrained. Then trial two - pricing tiers shift often enough that you should verify current numbers on the vendor's own page before committing. One honest caveat on sourcing: nearly every "best tools for agencies" listicle is published by one of the vendors themselves, so the rankings in them are marketing. I've weighted toward the pricing/feature facts rather than those rankings. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
