Here's how I'd rank them, depending on where your store is at: **1. ShipStation - the default pick for most stores.** If you're shipping your own orders out of a garage, office, or small warehouse and doing more than a handful of orders a day, this is the one. It syncs with basically every channel (Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, WooCommerce), does batch label printing, and its automation rules - "orders under 1 lb to ZIP X go USPS Ground Advantage" - are the real reason people stay. Starts around $15/month. Downside: the interface has a learning curve and you're paying monthly. **2. Pirate Ship - if you ship USPS/UPS and want to pay nothing.** Genuinely free: no monthly fee, no per-label markup, no minimums, and you get USPS Commercial Pricing (plus some sub-commercial rates via USPS Connect eCommerce). For a store doing under ~10 orders a day, this is often the correct answer and people overthink it. Tradeoff: no deep multi-channel automation, no inventory features, and USPS/UPS only. **3. Shopify Shipping - if you're on Shopify and just want it to work.** Built into the admin you're already in, discounted USPS/UPS/DHL rates, nothing extra to install or pay for. Not as powerful as ShipStation on automation, but zero added cost and zero integration risk. Start here before buying anything. **4. Shippo - best middle ground, and best if you have a developer.** Pay-as-you-go with a free tier, clean per-label pricing, and a genuinely good API. Nice if you're growing past Pirate Ship but don't want a monthly commitment. **5. EasyPost - if shipping is something you're building, not buying.** It's an API first, not a dashboard. No monthly fee, volume-based. Pick this only if you have engineering resources and custom fulfillment logic; otherwise it's the wrong tool. **6. Easyship - if a meaningful chunk of your orders go international.** 250+ couriers, and it handles the annoying parts: duties/taxes calculated at checkout, customs paperwork, landed-cost display. For domestic-only stores it's overkill. **7. Ordoro - if inventory and dropshipping matter as much as labels.** Multi-warehouse inventory sync, purchase orders, supplier routing. Choose it when your bottleneck is stock management, not postage. My actual advice: if you're on Shopify and small, use Shopify Shipping or Pirate Ship and spend the money elsewhere. Move to ShipStation the month that printing labels starts eating an hour of your day. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
