- BrandPush mentioned
Several names that dominate the top results - BrandPush, SiteTrail, RedPress - show up mainly in "best of 2026" listicles that are themselves paid press releases or partner content (note that one of my results was literally hosted on streetinsider.com/GetNews/ and another on africa.time.com/partner-

- PR Newswire recommended
It resells access to the real PR Newswire network, so your release lands in actual newsroom systems rather than just a syndication farm, and you get a human editor who will fix your lede.

The answer, as recorded
Searched, and a warning worth leading with: this query is one of the most SEO-polluted niches on the web. Several names that dominate the top results - **BrandPush**, **SiteTrail**, **RedPress** - show up mainly in "best of 2026" listicles that are themselves paid press releases or partner content (note that one of my results was literally hosted on `streetinsider.com/GetNews/` and another on `africa.time.com/partner-content/`). I'm not recommending those. Here's what I'd actually name: **1. eReleases** - my default pick for a small business. It resells access to the real PR Newswire network, so your release lands in actual newsroom systems rather than just a syndication farm, and you get a human editor who will fix your lede. ~$399-$699 per release. Main gripe in reviews is upsells pushing past the quoted price. **2. EIN Presswire** - the value choice when you just need a credible, indexed, citable release. $99-$149 single, cheaper in bulk packs (~5 for $399). Gets you into Google News/Bing News. Reviews are genuinely polarized - great for some, poor distribution quality for others - but at this price the risk is small. **3. PRWeb (Cision)** - from ~$110. Worth naming because the Cision brand gives the release a bit more weight than a no-name distributor at similar cost, and it's built around SEO visibility. Thin on real journalist pickup. **4. PR Newswire, direct** - ~$350/release plus a ~$195-$295 annual membership. Only if you have genuine news and want the AP wire and 4,500+ US newsrooms without the reseller in between. Over eReleases once you're doing several releases a year. **5. Business Wire** - ~$760-$800+. I'd name it only for one case: regulatory, IR, or SEC-adjacent disclosure where terminal placement on AP/Reuters matters. Overkill and overpriced for a local business announcing a new location. **6. Prowly (Semrush-owned)** - ~$258-$369/month. This is the one I'd push you toward if your real goal is *coverage*, not a wire receipt: 1M+ journalist database, pitch tracking, hosted newsroom. Different tool for a different job. I'd skip **Muck Rack** - excellent product, but real-world pricing runs $3,500-$40,000+/year and it's built for agencies and comms teams, not small businesses. The blunt version: wire distribution buys you syndication footprint, an indexed URL you can cite, and "as seen in" logos - not journalists calling you. If your actual goal is press, 10 well-researched direct pitches to beat reporters beats a $600 blast, and a cheap EIN Presswire release plus Prowly-style outreach is a better use of the same money than any premium wire. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
