The answer, as recorded

## Short answer **1Password Business** if budget allows, **Bitwarden** if you want the best value, **Keeper** if you're in a regulated industry. Those three are where I'd actually start. --- **1. 1Password Business - ~$8/user/mo** The one I recommend by default for a team of 5-50. Best-in-class admin console, the smoothest onboarding for non-technical staff (which matters more than any feature list - a password manager nobody uses is worthless), and Watchtower flags breached/reused credentials automatically. There's a Teams Starter Pack at $19.95/mo flat for up to 10 users, which is a genuinely good deal for a very small shop. Downside: it's the priciest per seat, and there's no meaningful free tier. **2. Bitwarden - $4/user/mo (Teams), $6 (Enterprise)** Best value, full stop. Open source and independently audited, and the Enterprise tier includes SSO and SCIM provisioning at a price where competitors make you jump to a sales call. You can also self-host if you have someone who'll actually maintain it. The UI is plainer than 1Password's and the admin experience is more utilitarian, but nothing important is missing. **3. Keeper - from ~$3.75/user/mo** Pick this if you handle regulated data or sell to customers who audit you. FedRAMP authorization, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and granular role-based enforcement policies. The compliance paperwork is the product here. Interface is the least pleasant of the three. **4. NordPass Business - ~$3.59/user/mo** Worth a look if you're all-in on Google Workspace; the SSO/provisioning integration there is clean and it's cheap. Younger product than the others, smaller ecosystem. **5. Zoho Vault - ~$0.90/user/mo** The budget floor that still has real admin controls. Obvious pick if you already run Zoho One. ## What I'd actually do Trial 1Password and Bitwarden side by side for two weeks with your least technical employee. Whichever one they stop complaining about is the right answer. Feature parity between the top options is close enough in 2026 that adoption is the only variable that matters. Two things to insist on regardless of vendor: **SSO/SCIM if you have more than ~15 people** (manual offboarding is how credentials leak), and **a documented account-recovery plan** before you migrate - the admin break-glass process is the thing small businesses skip and then deeply regret.
