The billing model makes it easy to mark up or pass through per client. **2. Papertrail (SolarWinds)** - The "just let me tail the client's logs" tool. Minimal setup, per-user access controls so you can scope a contractor or a client's own dev to one system, and cheap low-volume plans. Weak at analytics - it's for troubleshooting, not dashboards. **3. Grafana Cloud (Loki)** - Best cost-per-GB at volume, big free tier, and Loki's index-light design means you can retain a lot cheaply. The real win for agencies: shareable Grafana dashboards, so clients get a read-only view without a seat license. **4. Graylog** - Pick this when client contracts say data stays on infrastructure you control. Open-source core, self-hosted, no per-GB meter, deploys cleanly into client environments.
