The answer, as recorded

Here's how I'd actually rank them, depending on what kind of store you run: **1. Zoho Inventory** - my default recommendation for most small-to-mid online stores. Free tier (~50 orders/month), paid from about $29/month, multi-channel sync (Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Etsy), purchase orders, backorders, dropshipping, and shipping integrations. Cheapest credible path out of spreadsheets, and it gets much better if you already use Zoho Books/CRM. **2. Cin7 (Core or Omni)** - the one to pick when you've outgrown the cheap tools. Strong multi-channel + wholesale/B2B support, automated replenishment, demand forecasting, 3PL and EDI connections. Costs real money (Core commonly quoted around $349/month) and needs a proper implementation, so it only makes sense past roughly $1M revenue or when you have multiple warehouses/channels. **3. Katana Cloud Inventory** - the right answer if you *make* what you sell. Live production scheduling, bills of materials, raw-material tracking tied to your Shopify/WooCommerce orders. Free tier for ~30 SKUs, paid from around $299/month. For makers it beats Cin7 at a similar price. **4. Linnworks** - built for high order volume across many marketplaces. If you're running Amazon + eBay + Walmart + your own site and order volume is what's breaking you, this is the operations hub. Enterprise-ish pricing, quote-based. **5. Ordoro** - best value if shipping is your real bottleneck. Around $59/month with unlimited shipping labels, users, and sales channels, plus built-in dropshipping and supplier routing. Several 2026 roundups put it first for ecommerce specifically on that pricing. **6. inFlow Inventory** - good generalist with barcode scanning and a genuinely usable warehouse app; strong if you have a physical stockroom or do some B2B alongside online sales. **7. Unleashed** - worth a look for B2B/wholesale-leaning brands with light manufacturing; consistently high user ratings (4.8/5 on Trustpilot) and good costing/margin reporting. Two practical notes: if you're a single-channel Shopify store under a few hundred orders a month, Shopify's native inventory plus a forecasting app is often enough - don't buy a platform yet. And whatever you choose, pick based on which accounting system you use (QuickBooks/Xero sync quality varies a lot) and which marketplaces you sell on, because those integrations are what you'll actually fight with. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
