Here's what I'd actually name, roughly in the order I'd consider them. ## If you have servers and want someone else to own it **1. Datto (through a local MSP)** - Still the default answer for a small business with an on-prem server that can't afford downtime. You get a local appliance plus cloud replication, and you can boot a failed server as a VM on the appliance or in Datto's cloud in minutes. You can't buy it direct; it's sold only through managed service providers, which is either the feature or the dealbreaker depending on whether you want a vendor to call at 2am. Most expensive of the group. **2. Axcient x360Recover** - The Datto alternative I'd price against it. Same appliance-or-direct-to-cloud model with instant virtualization, but predictable per-server pricing with published $0.05/GB overage and failover ("Virtual Office") included rather than metered - which matters, because surprise failover bills are the classic DR budget blowup. Rates 4.6/5 on TrustRadius with ~78% of reviews from small businesses. Also MSP-delivered. **3. Cove Data Protection (N-able)** - Cloud-first, no appliance to buy.
