Overkill if contractors are all you're managing; excellent if you're already consolidating HR/IT. 4. **Wingspan / Worksuite.** Worth a look only if contractors are your primary workforce (agencies, marketplaces, creator networks) and you need bulk onboarding, vendor classification screening, and mass payouts rather than payroll. ## If you mean trades/construction contracting 1. **Jobber.** Best for home-service trades - HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping. Quoting, scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, payments. Cheapest real entry point at $29/mo solo (annual); Connect is $149/mo for 5 users. 2. **Housecall Pro.** Jobber's closest rival, stronger on consumer-facing marketing and recurring service plans. Starts at $59/mo for one user, $149/mo for five - but watch the add-ons (GPS $20/vehicle, price book $149/mo) that inflate the real bill. 3. **Contractor Foreman.** For residential GCs and remodelers rather than dispatch-based trades - estimating, job costing, daily logs, safety forms, submittals. Its selling point is unlimited-user pricing, which beats per-seat tools once you're past ~5-30 people. 4. **Connecteam.** Lightweight and cheap if you mainly need scheduling, time tracking, checklists, and document sharing for a deskless crew - not a full project or financial system.
