The answer, as recorded

Here's what I'd actually recommend, in order: **1. CallRail - the default pick for most small businesses.** Starts around $45/mo ($40 annual) with 5 local numbers and 250 minutes. It's the easiest to set up, dynamic number insertion (swapping the phone number on your site based on how someone found you) works without a developer, and the Google Ads/GA4 integration is the cleanest in the category. If you have no strong reason to pick something else, pick this. **2. WhatConverts - best value, and best if you get leads from more than just calls.** $30/mo for calls only, $60/mo for the Plus plan that also tracks form fills, chats, and ecommerce. That matters because CallRail charges form tracking as a separate ~$90/mo module. If you want one dashboard showing every lead source and what it was worth, this is the better buy and the better reporting. **3. CallTrackingMetrics - if you need call *routing*, not just tracking.** From $79/mo ($65 annual). It's more of a lightweight contact center: IVR menus, agent management, call queues, plus conversation intelligence on top of attribution. Overkill if you have two people answering the phone; the right call if you have a small sales team and want to route and score calls. **4. HubSpot - only if you're already on HubSpot.** Call tracking is built into the free CRM and Sales tiers. It's weak as marketing attribution (it won't tell you which keyword drove the call the way the three above will), but if your deals already live in HubSpot, logging calls against contacts for free is hard to argue with. **5. Invoca - skip it unless you're bigger than "small business."** It's the strongest AI conversation analytics in the space, used by Samsung, Dish, Mayo Clinic, but it's enterprise-priced and enterprise-scoped. Worth knowing the name for when you outgrow CallRail. One practical note: budget for usage, not just the subscription. Minutes and extra numbers are metered on all of these, so a plan that looks like $45 commonly lands at $60-80 once you're running real volume. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
