The question asked, verbatim: best call center software for online stores
Brands named, in the order the engine gave
- Google mentioned
One caveat up front: the first page of Google for this query is almost entirely vendor content marketing (Ringly.io alone owns ~6 of the top 10 results, all ranking themselves #1), so I'm weighting toward things with independent pricing data and G2 standing.

The answer, as recorded
Here's how I'd actually rank these, by what kind of store you're running. One caveat up front: the first page of Google for this query is almost entirely vendor content marketing (Ringly.io alone owns ~6 of the top 10 results, all ranking themselves #1), so I'm weighting toward things with independent pricing data and G2 standing. **1. Gorgias - the default if you're on Shopify.** It's a helpdesk built specifically for ecommerce, and phone is one channel inside it alongside email, chat, and social. The reason it wins for most stores isn't the voice quality, it's that the agent sees the order, the refund history, and the tracking number on the same screen. Watch the pricing model though: it's per-*ticket*, not per-agent - base plans run $10/mo (50 tickets) to $750/mo (5,000 tickets), and Voice is a separate add-on at roughly $0.90-$1.20 per ticket. Costs get unpredictable during seasonal spikes. ([eesel](https://www.eesel.ai/blog/gorgias-voice), [Gorgias pricing breakdown](https://chatarmin.com/en/blog/gorgias-pricing)) **2. Aircall - best if you want voice to be genuinely good and you already have a helpdesk.** Voice-first, ~100+ app marketplace so it bolts onto Shopify/Gorgias/Zendesk cleanly, and there's an AI Voice Agent add-on now. About $30/license/month with a three-license minimum, so realistically ~$90/mo floor. Pick this when calls are a real channel for you, not an afterthought. ([Shopify's own roundup](https://www.shopify.com/blog/call-center-software)) **3. Dialpad - best value at small scale.** ~$27/user/month for voice, video, SMS, and team messaging in one app, with live transcription and AI features included rather than upsold. If you're a 2-5 person team and don't want a per-ticket meter running, this is the least surprising bill. ([Shopify](https://www.shopify.com/blog/call-center-software)) **4. Zendesk - if you're multi-channel and outgrowing ecommerce-specific tools.** $19/agent/mo for Support Team, $55 for Suite Team with AI, up to $169 for Enterprise. Less ecommerce-native than Gorgias out of the box, but it scales past it and the Shopify integration is mature. ([Shopify](https://www.shopify.com/blog/call-center-software)) **5. Talkdesk - the mid-market/enterprise pick.** 4.4/5 on G2, Gartner leader, and it has a Retail Experience Cloud with industry-specific AI. Voice Essentials starts at $105/user/mo, Elite at $165. Only worth it above roughly 15-20 agents. ([G2 contact center category](https://www.g2.com/categories/contact-center), [Nextiva CCaaS comparison](https://www.nextiva.com/blog/ccaas-providers.html)) **6. Five9 - specifically if you do outbound.** $159/user/mo for Core, G2 4.1/5. Its real strength is predictive dialing and outbound campaigns - win-back calls, abandoned high-value carts, B2B wholesale. Overkill for pure inbound support. ([Nextiva](https://www.nextiva.com/blog/ccaas-providers.html)) **On the AI-agent category (Ringly.io, Consio, etc.):** these are usage-priced - Ringly starts at $99/mo for 250 minutes, Consio at ~$30 per 100 minutes - and claim high autonomous resolution rates (Ringly says ~73%). The economics are genuinely attractive versus per-seat licensing if your call volume is spiky. But the resolution claims are self-reported by the vendors, and I'd treat them as marketing until you've run your own pilot. Worth trialing as a first-line filter in front of a human queue, not as a replacement for one. ([Ringly](https://www.ringly.io/blog/call-center-software-for-ecommerce), [Consio](https://www.consio.ai/blog/best-call-center-software)) **Short version:** Shopify store under ~$5M doing mostly "where's my order" calls → **Gorgias**. Voice is a serious channel and you want quality → **Aircall**. Tight budget, small team → **Dialpad**. 20+ agents → **Talkdesk**. Outbound sales motion → **Five9**. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
