The question asked, verbatim: best webinar platforms for small businesses

Brands named, in the order the engine gave

  1. Zoom mentioned
Zoom Webinars - Start here if you're already paying for Zoom.
  2. Zoom Webinars mentioned
Zoom Webinars - Start here if you're already paying for Zoom.
  3. you're mentioned
Zoom Webinars - Start here if you're already paying for Zoom.
  4. Zoom Workplace mentioned
The catch: it's an add-on on top of a paid Zoom Workplace plan, and the add-on tiers start at 500 attendees, so it's oversized (and overpriced) if you're doing 40-person sessions.
  5. Demio recommended
Demio - My default recommendation if the webinar is a marketing channel rather than an occasional event.
  6. Livestorm mentioned
Livestorm - The one to pick if your attendance is lumpy or unpredictable.
  7. WebinarJam / EverWebinar mentioned
    WebinarJam / EverWebinar - Cheapest serious entry point;
  8. StreamYard mentioned
StreamYard or Riverside - Not webinar platforms strictly, but if what you actually want is a polished live broadcast to YouTube/LinkedIn plus a clean recording, these are cheaper and better at that than any of the above.
  9. EasyWebinar mentioned
Two practical notes: the bulk of "best webinar platform" listicles are published by the vendors themselves (EasyWebinar, Livestorm, WebinarNinja, and ON24 all appear in those results ranking their own products), so treat the orderings there as marketing.
  10. WebinarNinja mentioned

The answer, as recorded

Here's how I'd actually rank them for a small business: **1. Zoom Webinars** - Start here if you're already paying for Zoom. Your audience knows the interface, nobody has to learn anything, and attendance friction is near zero. The catch: it's an add-on on top of a paid Zoom Workplace plan, and the add-on tiers start at 500 attendees, so it's oversized (and overpriced) if you're doing 40-person sessions. Also worth knowing that plain Zoom Meetings with a webinar-ish setup is free-to-cheap and good enough for a lot of small businesses - don't buy the add-on until you've outgrown that. **2. Demio** - My default recommendation if the webinar is a *marketing* channel rather than an occasional event. Browser-based (no download for attendees, which measurably lifts show-up rates), clean registration pages, polls/handouts/CTA offers built in, and it does live, automated, and hybrid from one tool. Around $45-$199/mo annually depending on room size. It's the one I'd pick if you're running a recurring demo or lead-gen webinar. **3. Livestorm** - The one to pick if your attendance is lumpy or unpredictable. It charges per *unique attendee credit* (~€2.50) rather than a flat fee for a room size, so you don't pay for no-shows or for a 500-seat room you fill 60 seats of. Strong for SaaS product demos, good analytics, browser-based. Free tier exists for small sessions. **4. WebinarJam / EverWebinar** - Cheapest serious entry point; WebinarJam starts around $39/mo for 100 attendees. Aimed squarely at direct-response marketing - countdown timers, offer overlays, that whole genre. EverWebinar is the sibling product for evergreen automated funnels. Worth naming because the price is real, but the UX and deliverability are rougher than Demio's, and the sales-y aesthetic doesn't suit every brand. **5. StreamYard or Riverside** - Not webinar platforms strictly, but if what you actually want is a polished live broadcast to YouTube/LinkedIn plus a clean recording, these are cheaper and better at that than any of the above. No registration/lead-capture layer, though. **6. GoTo Webinar** - The old default. I'd only pick it now if you need its reporting/compliance posture or someone in procurement already knows the name. Reliable, dated, more expensive than it should be. **7. eWebinar** - Narrow but excellent at one thing: turning an existing recording into a scheduled, "just-in-time" automated webinar with live chat handoff. If you're converting a recorded demo into an always-on funnel, it beats bolting automation onto a live tool. Two practical notes: the bulk of "best webinar platform" listicles are published by the vendors themselves (EasyWebinar, Livestorm, WebinarNinja, and ON24 all appear in those results ranking their own products), so treat the orderings there as marketing. And nearly all of these offer free trials - for a small business the deciding factor is usually whether it integrates with your existing CRM/email tool, which is worth checking before you commit to an annual plan.
