The answer, as recorded
**Attio** - my default recommendation for B2B/SaaS startups right now. It's an object-relational data model, so you can model companies, people, deals, workspaces, and product-usage objects without bending everything into a contact-centric schema the way HubSpot forces. It's also genuinely fast (sub-200ms page loads, multiplayer editing like Figma/Notion) and has real AI-native automation. ~$29/user/mo, and there's a free tier for very small teams. Downside: less mature marketing tooling. **HubSpot** - the right pick if nobody on your team has used a CRM before, or if you want sales + marketing + support in one place. The free tier is actually free forever (no trial clock, no card), which makes it the lowest-risk starting point. Paid plans start ~$20/user/mo. The catch is that costs escalate hard once you want Marketing Hub or Sales Hub Professional, and migrating off it later is painful - so go in knowing that. **Pipedrive** - best if you just want a visual deal pipeline and nothing else. Cheapest of the three (~$14/user/mo), fastest to get a founder-led sales motion running. It's deliberately narrow: advanced automation is gated behind higher tiers, and you'll outgrow it if your data model gets complex. **Zoho CRM** - the value play. Very broad feature set (workflow automation, AI insights, multichannel including social) for meaningfully less money, and it plugs into the rest of Zoho One if you want cheap adjacent tooling. The UI is dated and clunkier than the others; you're trading polish for price. **Folk** - worth a look if your "CRM" is really relationship/network management - fundraising pipelines, BD, recruiting - rather than a repeatable sales process. Lightweight, cheap, good enrichment. Practical advice: if you're pre-revenue or under ~10 customers, use HubSpot Free or a spreadsheet and don't overthink it. The decision that actually matters is Attio vs. HubSpot once you have a real pipeline - pick Attio if your product generates data you want the CRM to reason about, HubSpot if marketing and support matter as much as sales. Answer Watch records what one AI answer engine said on one date, nothing more. Each page names the engine and the model, carries the date the question was asked, and lists the brands that appeared in the answer in the order the engine gave them, with the sources it cited. It is a measurement, not a ranking, not a recommendation and not a claim about the world. Brands that did not appear in an answer are not named on any public page.
