Here's who I'd actually name, roughly in the order I'd bring them up to a wholesaler:\n\n## Mid-market wholesalers (the sweet spot for most)\n\n**1. Infor WMS (CloudSuite)** - My default first recommendation for a serious distributor. It's been a Gartner Leader for eight consecutive years, has genuinely deep 3PL/multi-client and labor-management functionality, and Infor also owns the distribution ERP side (SX.e, Distribution A+), so the integration story is real rather than aspirational. Strong in food, beverage, and building products.\n\n**2. Epicor Prophet 21** - The one I'd name if you want ERP and warehouse in one system rather than a bolt-on WMS. It was built specifically for wholesale distribution - rebates, special pricing, matrix/attribute items, vendor-managed inventory - which generic WMS vendors handle badly. User reviews on the warehouse module are mixed (~3.9/5), so demo the mobile picking workflow hard before signing.\n\n**3. Tecsys** - Best pick if you're in healthcare, pharma, or anything with lot/serial/expiry and regulatory traceability. A Challenger in the 2026 Gartner MQ, and their mid-mark", "answer_truncated": true, "measurement": "One answer from one engine on one date.
