Toast Online Ordering** - The default if you want one system. Orders drop straight into the POS and KDS with no tablet farm or manual re-entry, and direct orders are commission-free. It's the most restaurant-native option (recipe costing, ingredient tracking, server workflows). The catch is cost: POS starts around $69/mo per location, online ordering is a separate module (~$75/mo), and a real full-service setup commonly lands in the $400-750/mo software range. Online orders process at card-not-present rates (~3.50% + 15¢).\n\n**2. Square for Restaurants / Square Online** - Best value, and where I'd start if you're a café, QSR, bakery, or single location. A branded ordering page is included on the **free** plan; Plus is $49/mo per location. Same-day self-serve signup, no contract. You give up some depth vs. Toast on inventory and kitchen ops, but for a lot of operators that depth is theoretical.\n\n**3. ChowNow** - The pick if your priority is escaping commissi", "answer_truncated": true, "measurement": "One answer from one engine on one date.
