Bonusly** - My default recommendation for most remote teams under ~500 people. Peer-to-peer points posted in a public feed, which is the format that actually survives remote work (recognition becomes visible to everyone, not buried in a 1:1). Strong Slack/Teams integration, global reward catalog, and consistently the highest adoption rates in comparisons. Free tier for core recognition, ~$3/seat/month for the Team plan.\n\n**2. Nectar** - The best value pick, and what I'd choose if budget is the binding constraint. Starts around $3/user/month, but tends to come out cheaper than Bonusly in practice because more is included rather than add-on. Also handles swag/branded-merch rewards well, which matters when you can't hand someone a plaque.\n\n**3. Awardco** - Pick this if reward *selection* is the thing people complain about. Its Amazon Business integration means the catalog is effectively everything Amazon sells in that country, which solves the \"the gift card options in my country are terrible\" problem that kills recognition programs on distributed teams.
