Most teams need one from each column. Here's what I'd actually recommend, in order:\n\n## Endpoint / laptop backup\n\n**1. CrashPlan** - My default pick for a distributed team. Continuous backup over any internet connection, no VPN needed, unlimited storage per device, deep file versioning, and ransomware rollback. It was built for exactly this use case (it's the descendant of Code42's endpoint product). ~$8-10/user/month. Downside: per-user pricing adds up, and there's no real server coverage.\n\n**2. IDrive Business / IDrive 360** - Best value by a wide margin if you're cost-sensitive. Flat annual fee for a shared storage pool across unlimited users and devices, so a 10-25 person team pays hundreds rather than thousands per year.
