Square Appointments** - my default pick for in-person service businesses (salons, barbers, trainers, massage, repair shops). It's the only one that bundles scheduling + payments + POS, and the free tier is genuinely free forever for a single staff member at one location, with unlimited appointments and automated reminders. Paid tiers run about $29/location/month (Plus) and $69 (Premium). Catches: the free plan caps you at one staff member, has no Google Calendar sync, and puts Square branding on your booking page - plus the usual 2.6% + $0.10 card processing. ([Square Appointments pricing breakdown](https://costbench.com/software/salon-spa/square-appointments/), [Koalendar overview](https://koalendar.com/blog/square-appointments-pricing))\n\n**2. Calendly** - the right answer if you're selling *your time* rather than running a shop: consultants, coaches, agencies, sales calls. Fastest setup of anything here, and the free plan covers unlimited 1:1 meetings with one event type. Paid starts around $10-12/seat/month billed annually. Weak spot is that it's a meeting scheduler, not a business management", "answer_truncated": true, "measurement": "One answer from one engine on one date.
